Walterville Pond

Yesterday, while hiking at the Walterville Pond I saw the following list of birds:  Bald Eagle, Kestrel, King Fisher, Cormorant, Great Blue Heron, Towhee, Scaups, Red-Headed Merganzer, Coots, Buffleheads, Wrens.  Although it was cold, it was peaceful and beautiful.  Walterville Pond is one of the best birding spots in the area.

The Flyin Ducks struggled to get off the ground last night, but once they took flight they soared.  I turned off the TV when Arizona went up 11-0, early in the 1st Quarter.  When I turned the TV on again the Ducks were up big.  This game was HUGE!  This is a signature win for our program.  E.J Singler's trey late in the game was a dagger.  The Ducks D was the difference in the game.  Waverly rejected 3 shots, Singler had 3 steals, Artis had 2 steals, Loyd and Kazemi  had 1 steal each.  The steal with less than 10 on the clock in the 4th was so clutch.  Great Win Ducks!
